THE SECT
With a double CD album in the works for release this Fall on Subsistenz, as well as working on a track for C4C's debut digital outfit, the Sect boys have also been busy with the Barcode Filthcasts and just working hard on a slew of steppy, techy beats that we all know and love them for! 2010 has been a busy year for the guys so far with dates all over Europe, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, a busy schedule set to continue into 2011!

Last year Cause4Concern returned to wreak havoc with their first full length album. Spread over five separate 12”s and followed by a double CD, "Pandemic" picked up right where the lads left off – the leading edge of electronic music. Now in 2010 Cause4Concern continue to release plenty of new material on their label C4C Recordings as well as securing tracks on Horizons, Cyclon & Renegade Hardware. A host of remixes are planned for their C4CLtd label from the likes of Prolix ,Rockwell, Stray, Raiden, Gridlok ,Chris Octane & Dlr, and if that wasn't enough the guys are launching a new digital label which will focus on releases from established and up and coming artists, the first installment coming from the Sect.
All of the elements that made them one of the most exciting and entertaining production posses in drum ‘n’ bass remain intact, and are both refined and reinforced.

COOH / BALKANSKY
Cooh has had appearances in many parts of the world. So far he has played in England, Australia, Russia, France, Denmark,Swiss,Slovakia,Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Poland, Germany,Holland,Czech Republic, Austria,Serbia, Kazakhstan and Romania, and is booked for performing in many more countries.He has a special knowledge of how to make the crowds go crazy and loves to share his own emotions with the people on the dance floor.
In the meantime Ivan has also been working in the field of Dubstep, IDM and downtempo, and last but not least, jazz music, under another alias - Balkansky. He has played at some of the biggest jazz festivals in Bulgaria with one the best Bulgarian ethno-jazz musicans - Theodosii Spassov under the Balkansky live project. Also doing deep house and minimal as Drum Kid, he started releasing on some labels as Italo Bussiness and Standart Audio.
Parallel with making music , Cooh is also active in the sphere of fine arts, studying and drawing graphic prints and has created a remarkable collection of works and already had few exhibitions in Germany and Bulgaria.

KATHARSYS
Brand new to the Anger Family!! Katharsys began in 2001 when Hugo, a pianist, and Tom, a sound technician, start producing their first drum'n'bass tracks, nspired by the dark grooves and demented beats of artists such as Tech Itch, Dylan, Kemal, Konflict, Photek and Ice Minus to name just a few. After countless hours of waveshaping and savage beat processing, the duo were ready to begin releasing in 2004. Katharsys, from the ancient greek word "catharsys" meaning the emotional cleansing of the audience in relation to drama, is an extreme change in emotion. The main focus of the duo is to create intense sounds which evoked that kind of extreme changes, into electronic music. Producing from darkstep to neurofunk hard drum&bass, Katharysys has reached different labels, such as Habit (US),Guerilla (US), Barcode (UK), Sinuous (UK), and Obscene (UK), and have progressed to playing their hard as balls sets out to fans around Europe.
Katharsys's tunes appear on many dj mixes from Counterstrike, Donny, Dylan, Cooh, Evol Intent, Audio, Dj Hidden, Nanotek, Dean Rodell and Forbidden Society.

FORBIDDEN SOCIETY:
Hailing from Czech Republic, Forbidden Society is a fast rising star on the hard drum and bass scene! A resident DJ at Therapy Sessions CZ, he has releases forthcoming on Algorythm and Counterstrike Recordings, a collaboration with Counterstrike himself, remixes of his own tracks by Current Value and SPL, PRSPCT 12", Obscene 12" , Freak 12" incl. a rmx by Current Value, plus a slew of more music coming out on various collabs with major hard dnb producers.

THOUGHT:
One of the newest inductee's of the Freak Clan, Thought hails from Sofia, Bulgaria and was inspired to pursue music production in 1999 after being infected with the Drum and Bass virus around 97. Such classics, as the Metalheadz Platinum Breakz series, and the more experimental Photek tracks of the time, were the backbone of Thought's growth as a fan, and led to his studying more about music arrangement as well as try to forge his own sound. He finally became most comfortable exploring a more experimental / breakbeat style, or what he calls, "Rufige on Steroids". Not surprising, this style, along with the tight, chunky mixes, and unorthodox stabs and edits, caught the ear of Freak/Obscene/Tech Freak/Therapy Head Honcho, Dylan, and Thought was quickly signed, first to Obscene, and then to Freak, in 2009. In 2010, Thought is set to push the boundaries of Drum and bass even more, as well as personally introducing his sound by Djing around the Europe. On the horizon of yet another chapter in the ever evolving and always cutting edge genre of music we live and breathe, Thought is set to be one of the DnB's fiercest warrior's at the forefront of the Revolution...
